Stephen Twist Music is more than just songs — it’s the culmination of over four decades of playing, writing, and recording heartfelt rock, country, and blues in Northern California.

Since the late 1980s, I’ve honed my craft in Sonoma County, California. I played in local bands including MC2, Mako, The Activators, and Diamondback. While working at Alembic Guitars in Santa Rosa — building electronics for world-famous instruments — I crossed paths with Tony Stoufer. That meeting sparked a lasting creative partnership.
Today, based in the Sacramento, CA area, I continue writing and releasing original music that connects with fans who crave authentic storytelling and live-feeling instrumentation.

Tony Stoufer Singer/Songwriter, Recording Engineer & Producer
Tony has been making music since the late 1970s. A true multi-instrumentalist, he plays guitar, keyboards, drums, and more. His band history includes The Tony Lonely Band, The Electric Toys, Strikes Twice, and many cover bands that kept him sharp on stage. Tony’s production skills bring warmth and depth to every track.
Together, we blend decades of stage experience with modern remote recording technology — always using real musicians, never AI.
